Terms of Use
Version 2026-09-25 · Terms for the current free service
About the service
DnD Planner is a free, independent group-planning service. You can create or join campaign groups, share daily availability, arrange sessions, respond to invitations and RSVPs, and view your schedule. These Terms govern use of the planner. Operator and contact details are set out in the Legal Notice.
Your account
Clerk provides authentication. Keep your sign-in method and sessions secure, sign out on shared devices, and contact Support if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Authentication providers also have their own terms and information about personal data.
Planning together
Group owners manage their groups and invitations; organizers have certain session and member-management permissions. Share invite links only with intended participants. Joining gives access to shared planning information. Availability expresses whether you could play on a day; an RSVP responds to a particular session. Neither guarantees attendance. Check dates, times and group timezones with your fellow players.
Choose carefully what you put in group names, nicknames, descriptions and session notes. Group members can see shared content. Do not share confidential information or another person's personal information without a proper basis.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and respect other participants. Do not post illegal, threatening, harassing, discriminatory or abusive content, impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malicious software, or use the service for spam.
Do not attempt unauthorized access, evade access controls or rate limits, disrupt the service, or scrape private group or account data. Automated use must not compromise security, privacy or reasonable service capacity. Report suspected problems privately through Support rather than exploiting them.
Your content and the application
You retain any rights you hold in content you provide. You give the operator a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, back up and display that content to the people and service providers necessary to operate DnD Planner, including sending related service emails. This permission is limited to providing, securing and maintaining the service; it does not transfer ownership of your content.
Rights in the application and its original materials remain with their respective owners, subject to any applicable open-source licences. DnD Planner is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Safety, reports and account restrictions
Use Support to report illegal or abusive content, identifying where it appears and explaining your concern. The operator may remove or restrict content or accounts where reasonably necessary to address illegal activity, abuse, security risks or serious breaches of these Terms. Measures should be proportionate; information and a way to contact the operator about a decision will be provided where lawful and practicable. Urgent protective action may be necessary before notice.
Leaving and personal data
You can export your personal application data from Account / Data and request operator-assisted deletion through Support. Ownership of groups must be resolved before account deletion. Shared session history and backup handling are explained in the Privacy Policy. You can still read legal information, contact Support and access account/export information if you do not accept a new version of these Terms.
The Privacy Policy explains processing; agreeing to these Terms is not consent to every processing activity or to marketing. Session, change, cancellation and reminder emails are service communications, with the preferences available in Account / Data.
Availability and changes
DnD Planner is an evolving beta service. Maintenance, faults or third-party outages can interrupt access. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will meet every planning need. Keep a separate record of important arrangements. Features may change, and the service may be discontinued; reasonable notice and an opportunity to export data will be provided where practicable.
Each party remains responsible as required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. No promise is made that a disclaimer overrides mandatory protections.
Terms updates, law and contact
The current version is identified above. Material changes can require explicit renewed acceptance before you resume planner functions; earlier acceptance is not treated as acceptance of a new version. The account records the accepted version and server timestamp. Read updated Terms before agreeing.
French law applies, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply in your circumstances or imposing an exclusive court where that would be unlawful. Contact Support first for questions or concerns; this does not restrict your right to use competent authorities or courts.
